Contemporary

Soft lines and seats that transform.

Generous volumes and relaxed proportions, softened corners: a sofa meant to be the centrepiece of the room. Contemporary follows the soft lines of today's design and puts them at the service of one thing, how it feels to sit. Extending seats, moving backrests, padding calibrated one density at a time.

The hand

Pelè, stitched point by point

Pelè's curved shell allows no shortcuts: the cover is cut into panels and stitched by hand over a metal frame we build in-house, so the curve holds its shape over the years. Beneath it, leathers and fabrics chosen one by one.

Movement

A sofa that changes shape

The seat extends with one hand; the backrest follows your spine instead of pushing against it. These mechanisms disappear from view and show up only when needed: in the evening, when the sofa stops being a sofa.

Comfort

One density at a time

Every filling comes from years of testing: different layers for seat and back, densities designed to welcome you without sinking and support you without going hard. No photograph shows it, yet it is the first thing you feel when you sit down.

A sofa isn't something you look at,
it's something you live in.

It still has to hold the room, though. Contemporary asks you to choose neither.
